BD reaches the 2 billion injection device milestone in support of COVID vaccination efforts.

BD is committed to supporting the global vaccination effort. Pandemic orders for needles and syringes have reached a total of 2 billion injection devices. 

Curbing the spread of COVID-19 through vaccinations is an important first step towards saving lives. Thanks to the ongoing commitment and support of organisations worldwide, the vaccination administration is restoring hope across the world. 

BD has already delivered more than 900 million injection devices around the world. The remaining orders are to be delivered between now and the end of 2022. BD is supporting pandemic orders for more than 40 countries, non-governmental organizations and other partners. ¹
