BD Plastipak™ Syringe history

It all began with the invention of polypropylene in the 1950s, a development that was leveraged by BD to produce this syringe. Production of this syringe began in 1961, at the BD plant in Canaan, Connecticut. It is now produced at several BD sites worldwide, a testament to its global appeal.
