The symposium will be divided into four sessions led by regional experts with a final panel session to discuss the approaches to help improve the diagnostic pathway to achieve better patient care and optimal utilisation of resources.
The symposium aims to better illustrate some of the strategies that can help uncover and alleviate existing gaps along the diagnostic pathway. These strategies move along two complimentary axes: best practice, meant as integrated diagnostic stewardship, and innovation.

Among the speakers, we are pleased to welcome Dr Sandrine Boisset, who will lead a session on the power of molecular testing for resistant bacteria.
