BD MAX™ Club event at ECCMIDFollowing a busy morning of ECCMID symposiums, booth visits and scientific exchange, 35 BD MAX™ users gathered at the Olissippo Oriente Hotel to inaugurate the first of many exclusive member events.

The event doubled as a celebration of the BD MAX™ Club launch, giving members the opportunity to not only discuss how they’ve been implementing its resources in their own laboratories but to get to talk and learn from one another for the first time as a unified international community through interactive activities, a catered buffet lunch and professional networking.

Attendees formed into 6 teams to play the newly released BD MAX™ System: Solve the Case, a scientific networking game designed exclusively for BD MAX™ experts to exercise their collective knowledge in identifying the most effective diagnostic course for a series of patient case studies. The winning team walked away with their own individual copies of the game along with the special edition BD MAX™ Club notebooks that every attendee was offered.

Throughout the two-hour event, members joined professional Swiss graffiti artist Philippe Baro in creating a collaborative art piece to commemorate the day and posed for photos in the photo booth corner.

A special thank you to all who attended to celebrate the beginning of this new journey together. BD MAX™ Club members who weren’t able to make it, keep an eye out—we’ll let you know where we’ll be next!
